Normal2x 10 anniversary press release

Modality Systems, winner of the Microsoft Communications Partner of the Year award 2016, is delighted to announce the creation of Modality Labs in celebration of their 10th Anniversary.

Modality Systems has been at the forefront of cutting-edge technology developments since its inception in 2007; and the pace of award-winning software products & services launched is set to accelerate with a full pipeline planned for 2017 and beyond.

At Modality Systems, our customer’s success is the fundamental driving force behind our continued investment in developing technological advances to enhance and advance the way we communicate and collaborate. By creating Modality Labs, we are able to provide an unconfined, free-thinking space that allows our industry-leading developers to connect with customers and partners to collaborate on early ideas and prototypes.

Popular Labs projects that are deemed to address a real market need will be promoted to Modality Systems general availability portfolio of products and services. User-feedback and BETA testing of early release prototypes can really make a difference to the speed to delivery for our customers, allowing us to test new product ideas and validate market assumptions, thus ensuring we continue to create solutions that meet the needs of the more technologically savvy modern workforce.

The evidence of technological change is all around us and it’s happening at exponential speed. The start of 2017 saw the beginning of what has been dubbed the fourth industrial revolution; and it is fundamentally changing the way we live, work and relate to one another. Today’s modern world has the potential to connect billions more people in real-time, across time zones and borders, dramatically improving the efficiency of organisations.

With modern day advances of cloud technology, connectivity and mobile devices bringing the power of real-time interactions and always-on communications to everyone everywhere anytime, worker productivity is on the rise. Unprecedented access to knowledge sharing, storage capacity and processing power is set to be further enhanced by emerging technology breakthroughs in fields such as artificial intelligence, robotics and the Internet of Things.

By working together with our customers, partners and the wider development community, Modality Systems will continue to shape a future that works for all by putting people first, empowering them through better connectivity, and constantly reinforcing our customer-centric ethos of delivering technological solutions made for people.

Nick Seagrave, Chief Technology Officer, Modality Systems comments: “Innovation and invention are important to ensuring an ‘evergreen’ business and are at the heart of our core values. Modality Labs gives us a forum to engage with the wider market and share ideas for new products and applications that could help with transforming and futureproofing communications enabled business activities.

“We are excited to be able to quickly raise awareness of potential concepts and new products while they are in development stage, and gather input and feedback from end-users about features, functionality and value to them.”
